Zombie Fest

When Edinburgh institution The Three Sisters asked us to create some designs for their forthcoming ‘Zombie Fest’ we jumped at the chance! A week of events and cinema culminating with Halloween night, their publicity needed to grab attention and stand out amongst the crowded market place.

Chopping up, re-arranging and colouring some old black and white comic book illustrations, we added the Edinburgh skyline and coloured it to present a dark but warm mood. The title was uniquely created for the project and the text laid comfortably in the available space.

This design was used throughout the campaign, from huge outdoor canvas banners, to flyers, posters and online promotion, with the design and layout tweaked for each.
