ABOUT THE PROJECT
Fringe Festival 2014
The Voodoo Rooms
Various formats
We were invited to create the Edinburgh Fringe Festival publicity for the bar & venue The Voodoo Rooms. We wanted a ‘house’ style that would reflect the stylish location, but would also look fresh & new, something that would translate to different formats whilst retaining an obvious identity for the venue.
Heavily influenced by classic dancehall posters and their typography, we designed these with fresh new fonts and clean backgrounds to help update the style. Artist photo’s were converted to monotones and then colored with bright strong colors and tiny design elements added to the show titles to help make each pop.
