Tae Sup Wi’ A Fifer is a new club night, hosted and programmed by James Yorkston (Fence Collective / Domino Records), putting together well known faces, to make interesting, entertaining and unusual evenings.
We were invited to create the artwork for the initial series of three shows, for which we used this retro style of typography, harking to the history of the music and the area of Fife’s embedded connection with the sea, but using contemporary fonts and coloring to portray the new element of the shows and musicians involved.
We’ve recently completed the second series of three more shows, the first (#4) is presented here and we’ll add the others as they’re released to the public (they’ve booked a truly legendary artist for the fifth show!).
