We designed the music magazine ‘Clash’ for almost 5 years and designed around 45 covers in the time. We were obviously excited to hear the massive Coldplay were to feature on the cover, however as they were recording at the time, couldn’t do a photo shoot for the issue. The press image we received could be used in other publications so we needed to make it our own.
We converted the photograph to our dot screen effect, recoloring it into this more unique scheme. It was also the festival issue so we chose this warm styling, to fit with the included muted green color festival supplement.
