CD wallet, posters & flyers
We were invited by local record label Black Sugar Recordings to design the CD sleeve for the debut single by a new young Edinburgh band called ‘3-Style’. They’d been smashing the local under 18’s RnB club night with their live shows and the label boss was touting them for greatness.
We designed the sleeve to reflect the elements of old skool hip hop in the band’s music whilst also modernising it and giving it a fresh relevant look to suit their current flavours. Promotional posters and flyers were later designed using the CD artwork as a basis.
The band released one more single before ending the band, however they later reformed as a slightly more successful band… the one, the only… Young Fathers!
