The Folking Famous Five

We created this poster for a fundraising gig for a music festival on the small Scottish island of Gigha. Starting with an illustration from an old Famous Five book, which we ripped apart and recolored, we then added additional illustrations of the island and the promoters shop, the Ardminish Stores. We designed the type in a style heavily influenced by old music hall posters, and colored it with this unusual theme, to help give it the uniqueness the gig deserved.

The gig was a great success and was sold out well before the show.
