One of Leith Walk’s best traditional bars, The Windsor Bar, invited us to design the promotional artwork for the finals of their ‘4 Taps’ competition. Hosting four breweries over four weeks, and allowing the drinkers to decide which beer becomes ‘Top Tap Beer’!
I wanted the design to have the feel of a biblical epic giving the event an overly grand feel. The title text being inspired by Monty Python’s ‘Life of Brian’ posters – and the chips in the stone beings added painstakingly by hand!
Adding the beer pumps facilitated probably the best way of all time to add four different logo’s to one logo and still make it work!
