We were honoured to be asked to create the artwork for the sophomore album from the incredible U.S. based singer-songwriter Michael Kiel Cash titled ‘Shores Of Mercy’.
Original cover artwork was provided by the lovely Riso Chan (which can be seen in its entirety on the inside of the CD packaging). However a lightening bolt of inspiration late in the design process, lead to trying out a major zoom into the original image. Ultimately creating an amazing cover image, adding a deep emotional feel to the cover that balanced beautifully with the music within.
Complemented by clean bold type (with a twist!), this evolved into a mighty cover image, that is, and will always remain, one of my all time favourites!
Seriously, this guy is relatively unheard of, yet is absolutely amazing!
Should be massive! There’s so many movie soundtracks that need these tunes.
