Edinburgh International Book Festival

We were invited by Screenbase Media to design a website they were developing for the brilliant Edinburgh International Book Festival. Being regular visitors to the inspirational event ourselves it was a treat to work on such a prestigious project.

The large website contained all the information about the festival and how to get there, together with details of their full events programme both adult and children’s and was able to take bookings and payments for all the shows.

The print design for the year utilised beautiful flower photography and we used these to help bring the site to life, using a different color scheme for each section and matching this with images of flowers with similar coloring. The header bar images animated, fading between different images and messages, giving movement to the otherwise static pages.
