Dan Rhodes ‘Little Hands Clapping’

Canongate Publishing were looking to re-design their book jacket for the Dan Rhodes novel ‘Little Hands Clapping’. Using the original illustrations that were done for the initial cover, we were to create a more professional, richer look.

After quickly reading it, we loved the dark & twisted humorous story of the book, and tried to capture it in the imagery. The original drawing was cut up, repositioned and recolored, losing all the characters body, and creating this new fresh imagery to portray the moods and themes of the novel.

The gorgeous cover was printed using additional spot varnishes and embossed sections.
