Nurture through Nature

We were delighted to be invited to create the signage for The Museum of Edinburgh’s new exhibition ‘Nurture through Nature – with Children’s Books’.

An exhibition inviting the public to step into a world of children’s books and discover how nature and wellbeing grow together.

We were supplied with some beautiful vintage children’s book illustrations for the project. Which helped inspire the whole rich, maximal design style used. A lush floral border was used throughout, and helped pull all the assets and exhibition together as a whole.

We used stylish classic fonts with a modern twist, together with an intricate drop cap, to mimic the page layout of a vintage children’s book. With the final designs looking great against the classic wooden walls of the Huntly room. Giving the exhibition a warm nostalgic feel that hopefully complimented the items on display in the exhibition.

The project consisted of a series of display panels, together with street signage and internal pop-up banners.
