ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Baghdad Blog
Guardian Books
Website

We were invited by Screenbase Media to design a website they were developing for a new book by blogger Salam Pax called ‘The Baghdad Blog’. Salam had become the “most famous blogger in the world” during and after the 2003 invasion of Iraq, with his blog detailing life inside Baghdad during the conflict. The book collected together his writings and was published by Guardian Publishing.

The quickly produced site used a simple clean layout illustrated with vibrant cut out and colored photos from the war. We were honored that the legendary Aphex twin provided background music for the site.

Unfortunately the site is no longer online.
